How a UK visualisation studio got 54 developer leads and 7 quotes in 7 weeks.
developer leads
in 7 weeks (September to October 2026), about £14 per lead, 7 of them quoted
Context
The client is a UK studio that produces CGIs and flythrough videos for new-build housing. Most of its enquiries came from homeowners planning small extensions, while the work it wants is developers and housebuilders with multi-plot schemes.
Objective
Fewer homeowner enquiries, more developers with real projects and drawings ready, at a cost per lead that makes sense for quotes worth thousands of pounds.
What we put in place
Form
An instant form with qualifying questions: who you are, the type of project and whether drawings are ready, with the higher-intent setting on.
Creative
The studio's own multi-plot flythrough video as the main ad, with copy that names the audience first: developers.
Tests
Separate angles for planning-stage projects and an evening-only schedule, judged on lead quality, not volume.
Follow-up
A weekly review with the studio: which leads became conversations and quotes, then budget moved to what brings work.
Result
£777 of ad spend over 7 weeks brought 54 leads, £14.38 per lead on average; the main video campaign went down to £10.60 per lead. According to the studio, about 18 leads became real conversations and 7 were quoted or being priced, including larger multi-plot flythroughs: roughly £43 per real conversation and £111 per quote.
Why it worked
- Qualifying questions turned homeowners away before they reached the studio's inbox.
- The studio's own work was the best ad: the flythrough video beat every static image.
- Decisions were made on conversations and quotes, not on the cheapest cost per lead.
